Residencies at Cobertizo are conceived as a working space dedicated to research, production, and the development of artistic practices. They seek to foster a community of exchange and dialogue among artists, both through individual projects and collaborative proposals (up to two people per project).

The program includes visits and accompaniment by mentors, as well as instances of exchange among residents—such as portfolio presentations and critique circles—in dialogue with the context of Jilotepec. These dynamics aim to broaden the perspectives from which projects are developed.
